Providing Care with the Highest Standards of Dignity, Integrity and Respect
Dr. Michael D. Smith, Owner, is a native Hoosier who moved to Naples from Indiana in 2009. He is a practicing Radiation Oncologist with over 20 years of experience in helping patients with cancer and other serious medical conditions overcome the obstacles which prevent them from living life to the fullest. He brings core Midwestern values of providing care with the highest standards of dignity, integrity and sincere respect of the patient.

A Passion and Desire to Care for Those in Need
Scott McCandless, Owner/Office Manager moved to Naples from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in 2004 and has a proven track record of 11 years experience in home health care prior to founding HHCPN. “I became a Home Health Aide in 1999 after I visited a friend who was living in a group home for the handicapped. Working with a variety of people; special needs children, adults with Parkinson’s, brain injuries, Muscular Dystrophy, postoperative care clients and many other levels of care and conditions, my passion and desire to care for those in need grew immensely. I know just how important quality care is for people in time of need, and it is my mission to provide those services to the people of Naples and surrounding communities.”

The Positive Impact of Home Health Care
Heather Sine, Administrator, moved to Naples from West Virginia in 2003 and has 7 years experience in home health prior to HHCPN. “When I first began providing daily care for my mother, a brittle diabetic, I was not aware home health care was available or that the services could be something reasonable and affordable for my family. Years later while caring for my terminally ill father, the assistance of home health care providers helped us tremendously. The daily care of a loved one can be very stressful and overwhelming at times; having the assistance of a professional caregiver relieves some of the challenges we face. I have experienced the positive impact of home health care and I desire to bring awareness to the community while establishing assurance of quality and compassionate care.”

Individualized Care at Home Offers More Freedom and Independence
Machelle Forshee, RN, Director of Nursing, moved to Naples from Southern California in 1988 and has 17 years experience in healthcare prior to HHCPN. “While working in Law Enforcement I encountered many people who were in need of assistance for a multitude of reasons. I felt it was my calling to work in health care and began working as a Home Health Aide and CNA; caring or people in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and Private Duty home care. I went on to become a Registered Nurse and have experience working in facilities and in the home. Our goal is to deliver individualized care on a personal, one on one level in the home setting. Receiving individualized care at home allows our clients more freedom and independence and helps provide the best possible quality of life.”
