MSK Radiology

Did you know that several different specialties stem from radiology? MSK or musculoskeletal radiologists are a subspecialty of radiology. MSK specialists diagnose various disease states and conditions that coincide with joints, soft tissues, and bones throughout the body.

An individual may have faced trauma, from accidents, sports injuries, or other circumstances; an MSK expert physician can diagnose these. Genetic malformations and diseases can also be diagnosed through MRI, CT Scans, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, and much more. Radiology Regional Center is an advanced, progressive imaging center that provides numerous specialties for their patient’s best diagnostic findings and treatment outcomes.

Dr. Santiago, an MSK radiologist with Radiology Regional, states the following about MSK. “Pain and dysfunction involving the joints, muscles, or spine are some of the most commonly encountered ailments in a doctor’s office. Pin-pointing the cause can often be an elusive proposition. With additional formal subspecialty fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging, our team of board certified radiologists has the necessary expertise and is committed to providing the highest level of care to the SWFL community.”
